Cheap travel to London from the US?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good but cheap way to get to England. A flight will cost us about ,000.00 or so and that’s just stupid. Also how are Americans viewed over there right now and in the Netherlands area. Thanks for your info.
Twism Christ you don’t know $hit! I hope you got your 2 points for the answer. Would be a interesting thing to watch you come over here and say that LOL! Douch bag. I was just wondering if Americans are welcomed with open arms or not.

    Agreed. $1000 is just stupid.

Fortunately, whoever it was who says that’s what all the airlines are charging is just plain dead wrong.

I’m on the Virgin Atlantic site pricing trips, and I see advertised fares from $196 each way and I’m easily locking in on a bookable fare of $479 RT for travel from JFK-LHR in February. (British Airways is showing me $609 for same itinerary).

On the Continental web site, I’m getting a fare of $452 from Newark to London Heathrow for travel in January.

You might be able to undercut the fares by shopping lower price carriers, u-bid sites, etc.
