I am looking to study, teach, or volunteer abroad, travelling at a low cost, while gaining a cultural experience, any suggestions?

Pretty much by foot, these days. It’s getting pretty expensive everywhere…especially Europe.
Study is fun, and definitely worth the money and trouble for the experience.
Teach? Depending on where you want to go, it can be difficult to get legal work. Unemployment is pretty high everywhere these days…don’t just pack up and think you’ll get a job. You’ll find yourself quite disappointed, likely.
Volunteer…Peace Corps? My niece is doing Peace Corps in Eastern Europe right now, and spent some time traveling during her break. She is pretty much loving the experience. (She loves to make everything look dark and dreary, and she has a lot of material!)
Habitat for Humanity doesn’t require the time investment/committment that the Peace Corps does, and I think they operate in Europe…and there’s Doctors without Borders, if you are into the medical fields.
You might want to check into some of the larger charitable organizations, too, like Christian Children’s Fund and CARE, UNICEF and see if any of what they do interests you.
